PTI's call for protest, Section 144 imposed in 3 more cities of Punjab.

Lahore: Section 144 has been implemented in 3 more cities of Punjab, under which there will be a complete ban on all kinds of meetings, processions and rallies.

According to the details, the Punjab government has imposed Section 144 in Toba Tek Singh after Bahawalpur, Faisalabad and Mianwali.

The implementation of Section 144 will be from 2nd to 3rd October, there will be complete ban on all kinds of meetings, processions and rallies in the three cities.

PTI has given a call for protest in Mianwali, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur on October 2, Article 144 was imposed to maintain law and order, protect human lives and property.

Earlier, the Punjab government had imposed Section 144 in Mianwali for 7 days, the ban will be applied from Tuesday, October 1 to October 7.

On the recommendation of the district administration, it was decided to deploy Rangers in Mianwali, 2 companies of Rangers will be deployed in Mianwali from 1st to 3rd October.

Section 144 was implemented to maintain law and order, protect human lives and property, the ban was applied in view of the threat of terrorism in Mianwali.

The Punjab Home Department has issued a notification for the implementation of Section 144 and directed public awareness of the implementation of Section 144.
