Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's lawyer Barrister Ali Zafar boycotted the hearing due to reservations on the bench of Imran Khan's reservations in the case of interpretation of Article 63A of the Constitution in the Supreme Court.

The review case related to the interpretation of Article 63 A of the Act is being heard by a 5-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, the bench includes Justice Jamal Mandukhel, Justice Naeem Afghan, Justice Aminuddin and Justice Mazhar Alam.

Ali Zafar, the lawyer of founder PTI, said in his arguments that there was a meeting with the founder PTI on the court order, police officers were also sitting with him in the meeting, the meeting was not a meeting between a lawyer and a client.

He said that founder PTI himself has requested to appear on video link, first it should be known whether founder PTI himself is allowed to argue or not. But the Chief Justice said that what secret things did you have to say, you only had to talk about the constitutional issue, Mr. Ali Zafar, you are making an unjustified request.

Barrister Ali Zafar said that I want to say something on behalf of Imran, the founder of Tehreek-e-Insaaf.  Justice Jamal Mandukhel said that if you want to talk, do it not from today but from the beginning, to which Barrister Ali Zafar said that you are not allowing me to talk about what I want to talk.

Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa remarked that you are talking about politics so that it will make headlines tomorrow, to which Barrister Ali Zafar said that even today there is a headline in the newspaper that constitutional amendment is mandatory before October 25, to which Justice Qazi Faiz Isa said. We don't know about that.

Barrister Ali Zafar said that the government is bringing the constitutional amendment and there is an impression that the court will allow horse trading, on which the Chief Justice said that we can charge you with contempt of court on this, yesterday you adopted one method, today another method is adopted. We respect you, you respect us.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan said that he is giving a very heavy statement by saying horse trading, what is horse trading? If we tell you, you will be embarrassed.

The founder PTI's lawyer said that the decision of Article 63A prevents horse trading, on which the Chief Justice said to stop making fun of the courts, while Justice Jamal Mandukhel said that the court had given its opinion on 63A. No.

Barrister Ali Zafar said that while boycotting the hearing of the review appeal related to the interpretation of 63A, the founder of PTI says that the composition of the bench is not correct, he will not be a part of it.

The Supreme Court appointed Ali Zafar as a judicial assistant, on which Ali Zafar, while talking to the Chief Justice, said that if you decide the case, there will be a conflict of interest. will form part of the record, can you as a lawyer or court assistant make arguments for us? On which Barrister Ali Zafar said that I can give arguments as a judicial assistant.

Extension of interim bail in 6 cases of Imran Khan and 1 case of Bushra Bibi.

Islamabad: The Sessions Court has extended the interim bail of Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in a case.

Judge Afzal Majuka of the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad heard the pre-arrest bail application of 6 PTI founders and Bashira Bibi in a case in which Imran Khan's lawyer Zahid Bashir appeared in the court.

During the hearing, Imran Khan's lawyer Zahid Bashir pleaded for adjournment of the hearing and said that the senior counsel is busy with other cases in Lahore and Salman Safdar cannot appear in court today.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing by extending the interim bail till October 21 in the case of six PTI founders and Bushra Bibi.

Name of PTI President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi removed from passport control list.

Lahore: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) removed the name of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi from the Passport Control List (PCL).

Lahore High Court judge Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza heard the case of removing the name of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and others from the Passport Control List (PCL).

During the hearing, the FIA ​​said in its report that the names of Chaudhry Perveza Elahi, Zara Elahi and Rasakh Elahi have been removed from the PCL, after which the court disposed of the application in the light of the report.

It may be recalled that Parvaiz Elahi and others had filed an application to withdraw their name from PCL.

 

4 officials including Deputy and Assistant Superintendent of Adiala Jail have been dismissed.

The Punjab government dismissed 4 officials including Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram and Assistant Superintendent Riaz Khan of Adiala Jail Rawalpindi.

Punjab Home Department has also issued a notification for the dismissal of the officers and personnel of Adiala Jail.

It is said in the statement that the officials were dismissed after being found guilty in the investigation of the murder of the prisoner, the inquiry was going on in the mental patient cell of Adiala Jail on February 29, the IG Prisons Punjab. An inquiry was ordered into the incident.

According to the notification, 7 employees, including Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram, were found guilty in the inquiry, and 4 of the 7 employees were recommended for dismissal.

It should be remembered that for some time other prison officers and officials including former Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram were detained in Adiala Jail on the charge of facilitating Imran Khan, but later Muhammad Akram was released.
