On the second day of the ongoing Test match between Pakistan
and Bangladesh, a remarkable performance was witnessed by both the teams.
Earlier in the day, Pakistan's fast bowlers Shehzad and Mir Hamza put in a
brilliant bowling performance. Shahzad started putting pressure on the
opposition batsmen from his opening balls. He first guided Zakir Hasan to the
pavilion without adding much to the scoreboard. After that, Shadman troubled
Islam with his excellent bowling, as a result of which Islam lost his balance
and the ball hit the pad.
Shahzad's fast balls also bowled skipper Najamul Hussain
Shanto, and he too was dismissed without any significant runs. Along with this,
Shahzad destroyed the top order of the rival team by taking three wickets in
five balls during two overs.
Hamza also supported Shahzad's performance with his
brilliant bowling. He got the wicket of Momin-ul-Haq, who chipped a slower
delivery at mid-on. Mushfiqur Rahim also got into trouble with Hamza's
left-hand delivery, and he put the ball behind the keeper.
Shahzad picked up his fifth wicket when he trapped Shakib Al
Hasan for playing on the wrong line. Meanwhile, Bangladesh were reduced to 26
for 6, and Pakistan tightened their grip.
But, in the second session of the day, Bangladesh prepared a
counter-attack. Mehdi Hasan hit two boundaries, and Litan Das batted
brilliantly against Shahzad. The two batsmen combined for 75 runs, and put
Bangladesh in a strong position by lunch.
In the afternoon session, Mehdi Hasan and Latin Das put on
an impressive 165-run partnership for the seventh wicket. Shahzad kept up his
performance and troubled the batsmen with six boundaries in two overs. Both
made good use of the old ball and completed their half-centuries, while also
putting on a 100-run partnership.
Shahzad, who was shouldering the extra burden in Muhammad
Ali's absence, picked up his fifth wicket when Mehdi pinch-hit him. Before tea,
Tasin Ahmad trapped Mehdi in front of the stumps.
Liton Das shared a strike with number 10 Hasan Mehmood, and
completed his fourth Test century. Lytton continued his aggressive batting and
a few overs later, was dismissed at long-on by Salman Agha. Naheed Rana did not
perform well in the game, but Bangladesh managed to get close to Pakistan's
total, which created problems for the hosts.
Pakistan had to bat in a short session till the end of the
day. Abdullah Shafiq's poor form continued and he was dismissed behind one by
Hasan Mehmood. Night watchman Shehzad was also bowled by Mehmood after two
overs, leaving Pakistan at the loss of 2 wickets for 9 runs.
According to the short score, Bangladesh scored 262 in the first innings, with Latin Das scoring 138 and Mehdi Hassan 78. Pakistan had scored 274 runs in the first innings and at that time they lost 2 wickets for 9 runs in their second innings. Bangladesh has a lead of 262 runs against Pakistan.
Liton Kumar Das impressed everyone with his brilliant
performance on the third day of the Rawalpindi Test, when he scored 138 runs in
a long stay of 333 minutes at the crease. Das, meanwhile, hit 13 fours and 4
sixes and formed a 165-run partnership for the seventh wicket with Mehdi Hasan
Miraz. Miraz also put in a brilliant performance scoring 78 runs, which along
with Das played an important role in improving the score.
Liton Kumar Das admitted that he was "nervous" as
he walked out to bat with a score of 26 for 5. He said that the thought of
batting before the drinks break was troubling him, as the pace of the Pakistan
team at that time was fast and it was difficult to play the new ball. Despite
that, they got off to a flying start, with Das crediting Miraz's early
boundaries as a major factor in their favor and saying that despite Miraz's
injury, his positive attitude and early innings helped shape the game. Made
better.
Das said that when both he and Miraz were new at the crease,
the game was challenging because of the new ball. The two combined to try to
extend the game and potentially bring the momentum back to their side. He
praised his record partnership with Miraz and said that Miraz's early
boundaries gave him confidence.
Adding 69 runs in 24.5 overs for the ninth wicket with Hasan
Mehmood, Das also appreciated Mehmood's support. He said that when Hasan
Mehmood came to the crease, he went into a completely defensive mindset, as all
the fielders were out and there was no chance of a boundary. Das appreciated
Mahmood's long stay and said they discussed the strategy of scoring runs, even
in one or two overs, to reduce Pakistan's lead.
Regarding the expectations for the fourth day, Das said that
if Bangladesh gets the early wickets, it will provide an opportunity to put
more pressure on Pakistan. He mentioned that the last two days of rain had
disrupted play, and hoped that the fourth day would see some good bowling soon.
Das said there is support on the wicket for the new ball, and if Bangladesh can
build momentum with early wins, they have another chance to make a comeback.
He further said that he is not saying that Pakistan can be
dismissed easily, but the responsibility has to be taken in the field of
bowling and fielding. Das emphasized that if Bangladesh bowls in the right
areas, Pakistan will face difficulties. He said that this wicket is not easy
for batting, and one has to be careful to score early. He said that Bangladesh
have good spinners and fast bowlers, and on the fourth and fifth day there will
be more support for the spinners on the pitch.
Das also mentioned that the pitch on the fourth and fifth
days will have more support, and given its slower nature, he will have to
maintain his rhythm. He said that the pitch was slow and slow, and you need to
be careful during the game to be aware of the shots you want to play and the
shots you can't.
Thus, Liton Kumar Das and Mehdi Hasan Miraz turned the game around with their excellent performances against Pakistan in the Rawalpindi Test and secured a strong position for Bangladesh.
Bangladesh's strong comeback and Pakistan's woes

Bangladesh enjoyed a strong session, during which they batted brilliantly
against the Pakistani bowlers and added 118 runs to the score. Thus, they
reduced Pakistan's lead to 81 runs.

Bangladesh's batting line-up. Litan Das hit two fours off a wide delivery from
Khurram Shehzad, after which he responded brilliantly to the same bowler's next
deliveries. Lytton hit three boundaries against Shahzad through gully,
including a drive and a pull. Along with this, Mehdi Hasan scored 17 runs in an

with their excellent batting.
Near the tea break, Khurram Shahzad bowled brilliantly. He
took 4 wickets for 17 runs in seven overs, including Bangladesh's top and
middle order batsmen. Shahzad took three wickets in five balls in two overs,
and Mir Hamza also supported him well, taking 2 wickets for 24 runs at the
other end. The performance of both of them stopped Bangladesh's strike and gave
Pakistan more chances
Shahzad and Hamza got the new ball, through which they
bowled brilliantly in the opening overs. Shehzad gave Zakir Hasan a chance to
get out twice, but a clip and a league appeal were dismissed as not out by the
on-field umpire. Zakir Hasan was dismissed by Shahzad in the next over, while
Shadman Islam and captain Najamul Hussain Shanto were also bowled by Shahzad.
Hamza took the wicket of Momin-ul-Haq, and Mushfiqur Rahim
got a jaffa which he slotted past the keeper. Shahzad caught Shakib-ul-Hasan on
the wrong line, and Bangladesh were reduced to 26 for 6.
Mehdi and Litton maintained their partnership, with Mehdi
hitting seven fours in his innings. Batting on the pitch became easier as the
ball got older and the sun got hotter. Resistance from Mehdi Hasan and Liton
Das put Pakistan in trouble, and Bangladesh reached 75 for 6 by lunch.
Pakistan scored 274 runs in the first innings, in which
Saeem Ayub scored 58 runs and Shaan Masood scored 57 runs. Bangladesh scored
193/8 to take an 81-run lead, with Litan Das on 83* and Mehdi Hasan Miraz on 78
not out. Khurram Shahzad took 6 wickets and Mir Hamza took 2 wickets.
Pakistan ended the day scoring 274 runs in 85.1 overs and
Bangladesh lead by 199 runs. This situation has made the match more interesting
and thrilling.
