Preparations Underway for PTI Rally in Lahore Today۔

Lahore: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is set to hold a rally in Lahore today, with many party workers arriving at the venue.

According to details, PTI is organizing a display of political strength at the Kahna Cattle Market, where preparations are in full swing. Chairs, sound systems, and other equipment have been delivered to the rally site.

The influx of PTI workers has begun, with attendees arriving from other cities. Containers blocking Defense Road have been removed to facilitate access.

Convoys from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also heading to Lahore for the rally, led by Umar Amin Gandapur, the brother of Ali Amin Gandapur. These convoys will join the main group near the Peshawar-Islamabad motorway.

It’s worth noting that a deadlock over the rally's permission was resolved around 9 PM last night. The district administration has granted PTI conditional approval to hold the rally at Kahna Cattle Market instead of Minar-e-Pakistan.

The notification states that PTI must conclude the rally by 6 PM, and it includes a stipulation for an apology from the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, regarding a speech made on September 8.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan expressed gratitude to the district administration for issuing the NOC in a video message. He requested that no obstacles be placed on the roads so that people can arrive on time and the rally can end as scheduled.

Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Malik Ahmad Bchhar stated that Gandapur's apology is a personal matter, and they have not given any such assurance to the administration. He further added that PTI is standing against fascism and oppression, stating they will endure hardships but not back down.

44 SOPs Issued for PTI Rally in Lahore, Including Condition for Apology from Ali Amin Gandapur۔

Lahore: The district administration has released 44 standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally scheduled for September 21 in Kahna.

According to the conditions laid out in the NOC, PTI has been granted permission to hold the rally from 2 PM to 5 PM. Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, is required to apologize for inappropriate remarks made during a previous rally on September 8. Additionally, organizers must provide a written assurance that they will be responsible for any unforeseen circumstances during the event.

The SOPs state that the district administration and police will monitor compliance with the conditions set forth for the rally. Organizers must ensure security with private personnel and volunteers, and they are prohibited from disrupting daily life for residents in the area.

During the rally, anti-state slogans or remarks against institutions will not be tolerated. Individuals facing charges for hate speech will not be allowed on stage, and no wanted criminals may attend; failure to comply will result in the organizers being held accountable.

The guidelines also specify that no Afghan flags will be displayed, and Afghan personnel are not allowed at the rally. Organizers must designate focal persons for coordination with the relevant police superintendents. No audio or video messages from criminals will be broadcast, and traffic police will issue and enforce a detailed traffic plan for the event.

Furthermore, no parades or rallies are allowed on the streets, and attendees are forbidden from bringing sticks to the venue. Statements that could incite religious sentiments will not be permitted, and the display of weapons or the use of fireworks is strictly banned. Mobile vans or vehicles may not be used for rally announcements, and no welcome desks will be set up outside the designated area.

The district administration has also mandated that no graffiti be allowed in the city regarding the rally. A peaceful environment must be maintained at all times, and attendees cannot be forced to participate from other districts. Security measures will include thorough checks of all individuals and vehicles entering the area, and burning effigies or flags from any political, religious, or foreign entity is prohibited.

According to the SOPs, parking areas for vehicles will be designated by traffic police. Organizers are required to fully cooperate with law enforcement to ensure foolproof security and are responsible for the security of the venue and surrounding areas. Participants from other districts must adhere to the conditions set forth in the NOC.

Organizers are reminded to ensure compliance with all conditions and that attendees disperse peacefully after the rally. In the event of any unforeseen incident, the organizers will be held accountable. Given the current security situation, organizers are advised to implement all precautionary measures for the safety of participants both inside and outside the venue.

PTI Announces Plan to Challenge Judge in Al-Qadir Trust Case۔

Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced its intention to approach the High Court against the judge presiding over the Al-Qadir Trust case, claiming that Judge Nasir Javed Rana intends to convict the party's founder.

During a media briefing, Barrister Abuzar Salman Niazi stated that a secret trial is currently taking place against the PTI founder, with violations of fundamental rights occurring in closed prison settings. He emphasized that daily hearings last between six to eight hours, which undermines the concept of an open court trial.

Niazi asserted that they are moving to the High Court because Judge Nasir Javed Rana has already indicated his bias during the proceedings, suggesting that he is set on delivering a verdict against the PTI founder. He called for Judge Rana to recuse himself from the case.
