ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has suspended Sergeant at Arms Ashfaq Ashraf and four other security personnel after the arrest of PTI MNA Aziz from Parliament.

According to the details, after the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf MNAs from the Parliament, Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq suspended Sergeant-at-Arms Ashfaq Ashraf for irresponsibility in the security of the Assembly.

The Speaker suspended Sergeant-at-Arms Ashfaq Ashraf for 4 months, apart from this, 4 other security personnel were also suspended for failing to provide security in Parliament.

The suspended officials include Assistant Waqas Ahmed and 3 Junior Assistants, Junior Assistants Obaidullah, Waheed Safdar and Mohammad Haroon.

Yesterday, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq while ordering the detention of the arrested PTI members of the National Assembly said that he will not tolerate the humiliation of honorable members under any circumstances.

Earlier, the speaker had announced to take action on the incident of arrest of PTI MLAs from Parliament House by Islamabad Police.

While giving his rolling, Ayaz Sadiq said that action will definitely have to be taken on what happened last night. I have ordered all the footage from last night. By looking at these footages, those responsible will be determined and action will be taken against them.
